Optional workspace

This is a deliberately secondary workspace — it never appears on Home or in the standard project flow. Build a multi-track set from separate imported files, each analyzed for tempo and key, sequenced with real crossfade transitions and optional tempo matching.

Add two or more tracks to build a set — each one is analyzed locally for tempo and key, same DSP as the main Studio Editor.

Crossfades use a real equal-power curve (constant perceived loudness through the blend), rendered sample-accurately via OfflineAudioContext. “Match tempo” changes playback speed to align BPMs — like a turntable pitch fader, it shifts pitch along with tempo, so it’s honest about the trade-off rather than silently pretending to time-stretch. Best results come from tracks already close in tempo. The waveform above is colored by real spectral centroid per segment (bass=warm, mids=green, highs=blue) — not decorative, it’s derived from the actual audio.
